During the day, Millbrook businesses and restaurants will offer promotions. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Millbrook Farmers Market will be open and the high-school soccer team will host kids games on Church Street.
It will also be opening day for Town of Washington Soccer, at 9 a.m. at the town park.
Here are some of the day's other components:
- Weather permitting, there will be hayrides from 11 a.m. to noon, departing from the Millbrook Firehouse.
- At noon, "celebrity judges" will judge an oatmeal raisin baking contest.
- The "People & Pet Parade" will begin at 2 p.m., starting at the Thorne Building. It will include hounds, Town of Washington campers, soccer players and pets at large.
- At 3:30, Aurelia's and Village Wine & Spirits will host a sangria-tasting contest, at Aurelia's.
- The Millbrook Fire Department will host a chicken dinner from 4:30-7 p.m.
- The Millbrook Arts Group Concert on the Green will feature the Sommerville Brothers Band, at 5 p.m.
